Matthew Averkamp is a distinguished Chief Financial Officer and Certified Public Accountant with over two decades of comprehensive experience in Finance and Accounting. His career is marked by a track record of driving financial performance and strategic growth across diverse sectors.

Matthew served as the Chief Financial Officer at Nationwide Automotive Services. In this role he was in charge of overseeing financial operations, and strategic planning, ensuring robust financial health and sustained growth for the organization.

Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Chief Financial Officer at ClearSky Power & Technology Fund, where his tenure was characterized by his adept management of investment finance, financial modeling and investor relations development, contributing significantly to the fund’s success.

Matthew's career also includes pivotal roles such as Senior Controller at Westbrook Partners, and Audit Manager at KPMG in the Netherlands Antilles, where he honed his skills in auditing, due diligence, and financial planning. His role as Director of Client Services and Head of Fund Accounting at Fortis Prime Fund Solutions further solidified his expertise in fund accounting and client relations.

With a Master of Science in Accounting, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and a comprehensive background in investment finance, taxation, and auditing, Matthew is a strategic finance leader dedicated to delivering exceptional results. His commitment to financial excellence and strategic insight continues to drive value and growth for the organizations he leads.

Matthew currently lives in Wellington with his family. He’s an avid ice hockey and pickleball player, and loves riding four-wheelers in the backyard with his kids.
